Off Season Trike/Motorcycle Related Activities… Whatcha Doin’?

For many of us northern, winter climate riders the riding season has come to an end…

That said, what are you all doin’ in the off season?

Me… I gave my leathers a deep cleaning and gave em’ a nice leather treatment. Like new!

Trike wise, I’m planning on having my Tri Glide’s wheels chromed by Willy/Shiney (with the moon caps), upgrading my lighting with Custom Dynamics lights all over (including front and rear rear fender lights) and upgrading my stereo…

Your plans? Maybe I’ll hear some good ideas to add to my list!

Me ‘ The riding season doesn’t really end….It just slows down a little..Still take the trike out mornings. For a coffee run…Also we ride the ATVs And Side Bys at camp…And ice fish at our lake an ride to and on the lake …

Trike wise, not much just a deep cleaning. My 02 Road King I may get around to installing the 95 inch big bore kit ,providing my cly heads get finished. Shop wise, I bought a small 12 inch engine lathe made by Atlas about 1950. My neighbor built me a nice metal stand for it and I am in the process of finishing a 2 inch thick maple top for the stand, that is what the original stands had for a top. Then weather permitting I want to start finishing the interior of my 12x24 shed. Other than that ,not much.

We do not have off season in Florida, if we did I would keep trike on the battery tender, shove some steel wool up the mufflers( keep rodents out) fill gas tank ( put in some stabilizer) ceramic coat all the painted parts and chrome

Trikewise i'm doing the driveshaft upgrade and adding the auxiliary fuel tank.As time and money allow i'll be finishing a trike/mower lift table.On other fronts i'll be working on cleaning the place up.Overgrown fence rows and such.

During the "offseason" here in the desert S.W. activities include, bobbing in the swimming pool swapping recipes and lies, tiptoeing from the air-conditioned car to the store on the hot asphalt parking lot, and praying the home air conditioning will hold up for another year. During the "winter" months, we RIDE!!!!!

pull out my snow skies, and pray for alot of snow...........I love snow skiing (and I'm R-E-T-I-R-E-D) so I travel too mountain too mountains all over the country

and ski, as many places I can.......

Have you ever seen a Kentucky license plate in all my years of travel I’ve never seen a Kentucky license plate , But then I’ve never been to Kentucky so it’s quite possible there might be a few there .?😉..
