Hi all i have a new 2022 free wheeler and would like to add passing lights i have the brackets and lights ..my question is there a connector inside the headlamp bucket to tap into like the road kings have
thanks bob
We see that the Freewheeler is a Roadking with a chopper nacelle instead of the Hiawatha nacelle. Lacking a fairing to hide all that wiring the FLRT uses frame mounted caddies. Connecter 109A is in the l/h caddy under the tank. This switches to the BCM allowing the passing lamps to turn off when high beam is on.It may be hanging out like mine was. HD calls them aux lamps for schematic purposes. In the l/h signal lamp cover mount the connector has open slots at 5&6 for your wiring. Your toggle switch mounts in the handlebar bar cover- see the round plastic bungs on each side. Pry up on the stupid black plastic triangular cover and there are Phillips screws to remove the entire cover.Hi all i have a new 2022 free wheeler and would like to add passing lights i have the brackets and lights ..my question is there a connector inside the headlamp bucket to tap into like the road kings have
