I'm thinking of changing my Daymaker headlight for a Custom Dynamics Pro Beam. Has anyone else done this and is the light improvement enough to justify a $450.00 cost?

First question I'd ask is how much nite driving do you do? I was thinking to do the same thing but after thinking about it, I don't ride much at nite anymore. I'm coming from HIDs on my old '05 ultra that I thought was very good that I went to after using 100 watt halogens. At 73 my eyes aren't what they used to be so I try not to have to ride at nite. That said, the factory LED's are pretty good. Good enough for the times I get stuck riding after dark.
I went with the Hogworkz Halo headlight and passing lamp. I got them as a set for less than the Custom Dynamics. They were about the same price for all 3 as the CD headlight only. I think I paid about $500 including shipping for all 3 lights. They are 1000x better than the stock day maker and I ride too much at night due to working night shift.
2016 Tri Glide, More DK than HD. Just shut up and ride.
In a word - YES. Long version is Custom Dynamics lights are on both bikes, a 2021 TriGlide and a 2017 FLHXS. HD stock lights suck, and the Custom Dynamics are worth every penny, are plug and play and lifetime guarantee. IMHO They shine 4 times further and twice as wide. Custom Dynamics also stands behind their products.
Just my 0.02 worth
