    Default Rear tie down points

I have a 2017 Goldwing with a Roadsmith kit. I’ve read that some trike kits have tie down points near the rear shocks for trailering the bike. Does Roadsmith have any hooks for tying down the rear of the trike? It would be great if you could include pictures.

My Harley Triglide had them but my Goldwing CSC does not, I put my straps through the rear rims and cross them. But be careful if you put the strap at the wrong angle it can loosen up.

I made a piece that goes in the trailer hitch to tie down with. Make it easy because you don't have to get under the trike to get to the tie down points. And yes there are tie down points under the back in front of the rear axle.

The trailer hitch safety chain hook loop attachment points are actually a part of the frame on the Roadsmith Trikes is the best rear tie down points.

I trailered my home when it was built. I pulled side covers off and ran soft tie around frame like sugjested on a 2 wheel Goldwing and tie it down there.

Thanks Randy. I emailed Roadsmith to ask them about the trailer hitch and they never got back to me. Coming from you, now I know it’s safe to do that. Much faster and easier than using the rear tires.
