Sounds like fun to me.RIDE SAFE
We're here with 45,000 of our biker buddies for the 29th Laughlin River Run. My first on the trike. I'll say this, it is usually very windy riding across the desert. This time I could run 80 mph without getting blown all over the road.
Pictures to come when we get home (maybe Tuesday)

Have had the River Run experience on several bikes over the years. The wind can be...VERY BAD! Will fly in to VEgas on Saturday and hope (wind permitting) to ride down for the day on Saturday. Will pick up my AMA pin and my HOG pin at the Riverside. No GW pins though. Not much ice cream served in Laughlin
Go to Oatman, Friiday not Saturday. The road may be closed by the sheriff on Saturday. Too many people in town! Try to catch Rt 66 in check out Kingman, only 90 minutes away. A trip to Lake Havasu is definitely worth it. Enjoy!
Thanks for the ideas P-Jim, this is our 10th River Run. We like it here so much we bought a condo here, then a house, now we have 4. If my #1 son hadn't given me the most beautiful granddaughter in the world and lived 10 minutes from our California house we would be living here.

Pictures?
I was there on Saturday. Missed seeing you.
Seemed like a larger crowd this year than last, even with the wind. Also saw a lot more trikes this year.

Just got home. 814 miles total. Got hundreds of pictures, will download them tonight, do some sorting, and make a slide show. It seemed smaller to us this year. We have been to all of them for the last 10 years. Still had a great time, met some old friends, made a couple of new ones. Saw a bunch of Mongols get busted at the Aquarius Hotel. Lots of trikes! We 'baby boomers' are getting older! Ride up Wednesday was beautiful! Ride home Monday was equally great. Couple of pretty windy days in between!

Here are some pictures of the River Run, a trip to Kingman and Mother Road Harley, and of course Oatman and the mules. About 2 minutes.

Loved that music!!!
Thanks! Got 4 or 5 albums of Bluegrass music on my MP3 player. Something about banjos and twisty roads, bootleggers and revenuers chasing each other on 1950's cars.
