Hello everybody and thanks for the opportunity to be a member of this forum. I just started riding again after 25 years and a poor choice I made in buying my entry bike to begin riding again. I started riding at 21 and my first bike was a BSA A10 Super Rocket. After many Hondas, a Norton Commando, and my last bike a Honda V65 Magna I stopped riding and got my dream car, a Corvette. Sold the Vette about 3 years ago and last year got the itch to ride again. So at 75 I purchased my dream bike, a 2017 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited with 2.600 miles on it.

I discovered almost immediately it was too much bike for me. I did not take into consideration the monster that 950 pounds actually is and my abilities at my age. Long story short, about 3 weeks ago I traded the Ultra (still with 2,600 miles on it) for a new 2022 Tri-Glide and am back in the saddle again. I love the bike but need to make a few aesthetic changes so my back continues to be my friend. I have put a back rest on it and now need to find the right extended reach bars.

Sit in the Trike get settle in and have some one stand next to you with a yard stick…Then close your eyes 👀 rase your arms to where it feels good if you’re holding on to the bars without leaning forward and then have the person standing next to you hold the yardstick parallel/ horizontal to where your hands are and then that will give you a good feel as to where the new bars should be positioned at…
