Please keep in mind that anytime I share or give advise about a motorcycle, unless I state otherwise, I am always referring to GL1800's and no other.
Quite a few years ago gold wings were having problems with oil filters. The cheapos were put together with hot melt glue. The glue would melt when the engine got hot. Then it would solidify in the oil passages over night. Ruined engine on start up.

Being in the GL1800 repair business, for me, I enjoy sharing my experiance of what to do and what not to do. But here's the best part. Because some have their own beleifs, and I'm fine with that, I also know that financially the rewards of "them" having such beleifs are in my favor

I have not had my wing long so your advice is always welcome, I have only used Honda oil and filters since I got it but I am always interested in what others recommend.
