Whan Gordon Lightfoot was driving in Arizona to the town of Carefree on the Carefree Highway, he made a note of the name. Later he used that name for the title of a song when he wrote about his long-lost love. Several months ago, I was riding on the Carefree Highway and his song came on the radio. Got my attention. It will now always be a special ride for me. RIP, Gordon
