I had to replace a blown fuse recently, and used the correct rating 'spare' from the fuse box (2022 Freewheeler). I had no difficulty removing the blown fuse and inserting the new spare fuse.

However, I have tried putting a new fuse in the 'spare' location and cannot get it to go in. I have even tried inserting the old 'blown' fuse, but cannot get that to go in either. I definitely have the correct replacement fuse at the correct rating, but however hard I try I cannot get the fuse to go into the holder on the fuse board.

Is there a special method for inserting them? I do not want to push too hard and break something. Also, if I push too hard the whole fuse box goes back into the space behind.

Anyone have any ideas/solutions/explanations? I really do not want to book it into a dealership to insert a spare fuse, I'd feel such an idiot.
