Yet another crappy summer

I walk outside this am to see grey skies and a horrible smell, yup yet another summer of smoke. Can’t see the sun, no wind just the smell of my country burning again. Every Province is on fire and the haze is everywhere. In the winter it’s snow and in the summer now smoke. Even the racoons are coughing. I’m starting to think this is what the Bible means by burning in hell.

I originally thought this was all from lightning strikes, and some were, but it turns out many also started from unattended campfires and some from cigarettes and such thrown out car windows. Please don’t do that.

However I want to thank all the folks who came from afar to help. Several crews came from the US and elsewhere and we all appreciate their efforts. Thanks you all so much.

We all wish Canada well. Understand where you are coming from. Here in Michigan, we can see some of the residue from some Canadian fires. Add to that, we had a 2800-acre fire here near Graylon, MI - fortunately, most of that is controlled.

They say the Michigan fire started from an unattended campfire. So, hopefully, everyone will be careful.

First the government takes your bank account because you won't get the covid shot now this. So glad my grandfather moved to the USA.

I knew I’d get some backlash from this post. I’m not the only one who watches Fox News on this forum. Does anyone remember what they did to the truckers who protested because they weren’t allowed to drive because they refused to get the Covid shot? That’s what I’m talking about. It’s terrible that Canada is having all these forest fires but a $25k fine for using a fire pit is ridiculous. Maybe you get all your information from CNN. I watch both sides and know who I’d rather believe. Criticize me all you want. I’m done with this post.

Have to agree with that. They were in a truck cab all alone, who are they going to infect? Turns out the shot didn't keep you from infecting anybody anyway. But let's be honest. Most of us know the rules that were created out of covid weren't about stopping the progression of the disease but to get us little people used to doing what the government commanded.
