Hi Brian, :welcome: to Trike Talk and your first post

Can you post up some pictures of the rear end?

Please stop by the New Members section and tell us about you and your trike;)

Good morning Brian . Is it possible the dif is torquing up and hitting somthing  just a thought.

Good point, first thing to check, I would also check the pinion lash

Does this also have a driveshaft with u joints? If it does another place to check, a bad joint can cause this noise and if bad enough it could leave you stranded

Thank you yes it has a drive shaft but I check for any play when I changed the differential.the reconditioned differential had a knock in it when I moved the drive pinion back and forth, when I took the old differential out they were both the same knocking when moving the drive pinion left and right, don’t know if this is normal or both are faulty
