Thank you all for the Birthday wishes. It was a good day. We were busy canning sauerkraut most of the day but went out to dinner in the evening. 51 quarts in all by the time we were done.

Speaking of Sauerkraut.....My Old Man once told me that,.......Back in the 20's there was this engineer who invented a Carburetor that used sauerkraut juice and that enabled cars to get over 100 miles a gallon..... And the strange thing was that just after he demonstrated it successfully in a Detroit parking lot across from Sinclair Oil Headquarters' He just vanished from the face of the Earth never to be seen or heard from again.. ..
