Rack Flag Mount
Anyone have a Flag mounted to the HD Air Wing Luggage Rack? I have looked at several versions and the "Base" that actually mounts to the rack is always listed as 1/2" but the rack rods are actually 3/8" ... only the outer rails are 1/2" but the pics show the base mounted to the inside rails? Also if anyone has one, could you please tell me the height of the base from it's bottom to the tapered top without any flag in it? Any input is always greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

Flag mount
Ive had the PPI mounted flags for several years on the Harley air wing-VERY good & Highly recommend, NO issues (but use a SMALL drop of locktight)

I believe if you need a bushing it can be done by splitting a short piece of pvc pipe long ways and it will close up tight on the bar.
Nice mount. I am going try it. Tired of my 11X15 Flags being torn up after riding 70mph on Texas roads. I currently replacing every 4-6 weeks. Hopefully these will work.Originally Posted by Rogue1

The wings on the pole really keep the wind from beating up the flag.
They are a little more expensive than other flag mounts but I think it's worth the price.
I have to mount these on the side of my rack, because I have a Air Wing Rack. So I would have to turn the wings 90 degrees. I emailed them but have not heard back. Does the pole turn in the mount?
