Good Morning to all,

I cut a 4X4 board three times at 14' long......................... I then jack up the rear of my TRIKE and place a 4x4 under each wheel, Then jack up the front wheel and place a 4x4 under the front wheel........ This raises up your bike 4inches , high enough to place a pan under the engine for oil changes...........
Warning: BESURE TO PUT A TIE AROUND YOUR FRONT BRAKE TO HOLD YOUR BRAKE ON, AND PUT BIKE IN 1ST GEAR SO IT DOESN'T ROLL, WHILE YOUR UNDER THE BIKE
I ride a Roadsmith trike also......... lift'n up the trike also allows me, to easily, wax my bike, or change spark plugs, and service it , as well.

Before I got my 4 post lift I would run the back wheels up on my car ramps and then jack the front up level which gave me plenty of room work.
Home made stands work beautifully for all my Trike maintenance........
These raise the Trike about 6" total.......
I took a 4 foot 2 X 10 measure in from each end and cut a 45 degree cut 16" from each end. Lay each in front of each wheel. Pull trike up on boards. I have a small floor jack the ones you see advertised for $39 to $49. I have a small 4" x 4" thin piece of plywood I place on jack the roll it under engine case center. Lift trike up easy and drain. I also have a set of short filter pliers, easy to remove filter without having to remove lower cowel.
Ride it up on three ramps. Just be sure to stop at the top.
Experience is recognizing the same mistake every time you make it!
