Hello everyone, newbie here. Have a 2013 FLHTCUTG. Bought it with stripped drain plugs, going to install a baker +1.5. Looking for information on whether you have to remove the belt to remove the oil pan. Thanks in advance

Hi Thomas, to Trike Talk
I dunno about the oil pan removal on a trike, on a 2 wheeler the rear wheel needs to be removed, you need to slacken the belt, the exhaust cross over needs to be removed on some models

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Welcome from Dayton Ohio, have you considered using an automotive drain plug repair kit. On a two wheeler, the rear tire is directly inline of the pan, that is why it must be removed. On the trike it is clear after you remove the crossover pipe. My buddy took his to the dealer to have the pan gasket replaced, and they charged him one hour labor. You can remove the swingarm end caps, then remove the rubber isolators, this will give you more than enough room by gently prying up on the transmission side case or the inner primary . Removing the belt is not required.
