I hope to be there but will have to leave on Friday morning. Have to be in my hometown (Tazewell) in Virginia on Friday night to attend my 60th high school reunion. Will probably leave San Diego on Thursday and take four days to drive across making it to Maggie Valley on Sunday afternoon.

Tazewell is not that far from Maggie Valley. Event is until thursday Some will be riding thru sunday.

Plan to be in the area starting May 15th. Trip has been planned and set up for a year now.

We had to move MIL to Hospice car this week. At 92 her body is shutting down Doctors will do no more for her. She comes first. So plans may have to be canceled.

Steamer, there isn't a sign up page, and I guess you can say it's not a rally either. A bunch of us here from Trike Talk just get together every Labor day week for some riding, eating out, and sitting in the rocking chairs in the evening at the motel and just BS, tales are told, some libations flow, just good times. There are rides every day, some times there are a couple of options and our leaders are very knowledgeable about the area.
