You have to find someone who has the equipment to check it and calibrate it.

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
I think some of the MFG'S (SNAP ON) will do it for free won't they?
go to http:.www.rcramer.com/shop.torq_cal.shtml for a DIY calibration info. or goggle it was the first item.lb
Most are not fortunate enough to have a Cal lab close by so usually they get sent out. The Cal lab will set and adjust the tool for a fee and return it.

Best is to send it out, but that's expensive.
You can hang a weight from the handle while the head is clamped in a vice. Google "calibrate torque wrench" for suggested methods.
Or you can trust one of these to calibrate your wrench:

This is particularly important to do with a "clicker". They can go out of calibration easily. Me, I use nothing but good quality dials, which are more reliable. They also let you see the bolt coming up to torque, which can help spot problems. Smoothly is good, jumps are bad. One with a "follow-on" pointer lets you use it where you can't observe the dial.
