Slipon question

Baggers are easy to see and remove from the rear mounts, trikes are not as forgiving, they mount under the body and the bolts are in a not very user friendly spot, take a look at yours, you will see in a minute

So it’s just a pia to get to the rear bolts. Nothing else?

When the m8 baggers first came out the inlet on the muffler on the right side was much larger than the trike, on the later model trikes 2020 and up I don't know if the inlet on the trike was increased or not. The rear mounts are the same.

There is no difference at all in the design or length, but the larger diameter slipons (4 - 4 1/2") that will fit on any bagger with no clearance issues, may not not clear the lower body cutouts on some trike bodies. In some cases, the larger diameter slipons will fit, but not in all. It varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Isn't there also a difference in inlet size?

No, for the tike conversion manufacturers that utilize the stock exhaust system, they provide a custom, make and model specific exhaust pipe extension that connects to the head pipes and to the slipon's relocated mounting points.

Vance and Hines makes a set of slip-ons specifically for the trikes and they are made for left and right. the mounting brackets are on the side of the mufflers. there is a bracket that mounts to the Harley mounts and the mufflers mount to it. They have a smaller opening (about a 3 inch oval) for the exhaust that is offset giving a couple more inches of ground clearance.

The Vance & Hines trike exhaust is made specifically for Harley TriGlide and Freewheeler trikes, not for trike conversations.
