New to this group, 23 year HD rider
Hey everyone !
just joined the group because I’m getting too shaky to stay on two wheels, especially a touring rig, gave my Road Glide Special to my Son.
Seriously considering a new RG3, and would like any thoughts on the 114 motor and exhaust system suggestions.

Welcome. I'm quite attached to my '21 Freewheeler with the M8 114 motor. 26,000 miles and counting. The RG3 is a right nice looking trike. Go test ride one and see if it suits you. Very similar to the Freewheeler, but more bells and whistles and, of course, a bit higher price tag. I use a Cobra free flow air cleaner and Cobra 909-Twins slip on mufflers and got a noticeable performance boost and nice sound without rattling windows and setting off car alarms. Didn't need to do a dyno tune or change anything. Figure out what you want out of your trike and go from there. Good luck. Post back with pics if you decide on it. We all like pics.

I loved my 2017 RGS, only had 4800 miles on it. Was just getting too heavy for me to handle after my Heart Attack. Sent out to my Son in AZ. Was in excellent shape with many nice upgrades, HP cam, D&D full exhaust, CVO bags, additional lights, Corbin seat, some Hogworkz stuff. Had the “Reaper “ pkg on it when I bought it, basically a black out package, fork lowered, foot boards, pedals, etc.

you’re the second recommendation for the Cobra stuff, I’ll check them out.
I’ve tricked out a lot of vehicles, both 2 & 4, and I’m probably not going to get crazy on this one. A few bolt ones and ride it. Getting to old to fix up stuff for other people!
