My name is Mike--User name is drumdoctor.
I live in Orlando,Fl.
Viet Nam vet.
I ride a VW trike---1600 single port.

Contemplating building a V6 trike--rear engine-- using a front wheel drive donor vehicle.

Besides the Buick 3800 engine from a 1985 Park Ave., what other V6 engines are useable?Wanting to use an engine that has a separate auto transmission.

Any thoughts on about this?

Welcome Mike I have had a couple of 3800's and they were a strong motor....Ths should be intresting, make sure you post pictures and let us know how this build goes I for one build am very intreasted in ( being a motor head all my life) !!!!!!

If any of you are interested---

I have built a VW trike and a V8 trike from scratch.

I currently have a VW trike that I bought in Atlanta.

It was mostly complete and titled, but there were a lot of things that I wanted to change.

It looks nothing like it did when I bought it.

I have put over 10,000 miles on it in 13 months.

I figure that I should have it done in 3 or 4 months.

I am contemplating building a V6 trike--mainly because of the automatic transmission.
