Help my CD player is stuck!

I have a 2003 GW TRike and the CD player in the Upper trunk is not working. It had always worked but I din't use it for about six months and now the trap door opens to expose the CD player but no matter which button I push the CD's don't comeout so that I can replace them. They won't play so I am assuming that their is something stuck. Does anyone have any ideas how to get it to operate again??

Pour about a pint of gasoline directly on it, then light it with a Bic lighter, stand back watch the fire, collect insurance, buy new trike, problem solved...no need to thank me.

when you say the door opens, do you mean under power. if not, then you may want to check voltage getting to cd player. also make sure there are no seperate fuses on it. maybe just smackiing it would get it working. at least that is what my wife says to me!

I have found that a bigger hammer often solves a lot of problems ?

Try pushing the eject button repeatedly and tap the top as you are doing that. Some times that helps to dislodge the tray. If that doesn't work you may have to take the top off to get them out.<br />

I tossed mine 3 years ago when BikeMP3 came out with a replacement device that works better than the CD, and held more music than you could listen to in a week. Now they have an even better version. The BikeMP3 plugs into the same connector, and the bike thinks there is a CD there, and works like a charm.<br />

I am sold but I have a nonrelated question. I watched the install video and want to know where that guy got thoes hot red seats. Our trike is white with red pinstripe flames and that seat would be killer.

As soon as mine arrives I will have a factory 6 cd changer for sale.

Southern Man, there is a trike advetised in the Trikes for sale section that has red seats. It says the seat is a custom Corbin seat. It's the 93 Goldwing Trike.

Is any of the trike dealers on the site a dealer for this MP3 gismo and selling tham to members at a discount? If not you should be. One of our Heritage Springer members wife rides a gold wing trike and he just told me this is an exelent product.

on my 02 The disks will sometime hang up so it won't eject. I used a credit card slip it inside enough to help the stuck disk eject. I've done this twice in the last three years seems to work fine for awhile. To reset the error display I have disconnected the battery and reconnected the battery. Hope this fixes your problem. mp3 is the way to go
