Well, it hasn't officially started yet, but the fun has still begun. It has been raining lightly, but we are sitting around under the motel porch hangin' out and chatting. Eight of us ate together at Legends with lots of stories and laughter, then dashed back to the motel between rain drops. So far we've found the following members and their spouses:

icebite1...Michigan
oleman69...Alabama
juju...Florida
ultraboy---Indiana
greyfang...Colorado
jjtriker...Illinois
nana... Ohio
retdpd and group... Michigan
--Hel-n-wheels
--Warren and Nancy (six gun)
CharlieD and the Imp...Illinois

OK y'all, hurry and get here tomorrow, but ride/drive safely!

We had a bar-b-que with thirdwheel and wolf and wives tonight. We will be leaving here in the morning at 8:00am and will be there in time for lunch.

Good morning.....
Sitting on the porch with coffee. We will have rain on and off today, but Saturday forecast is perfect!!! Come on down, folks. A little rain won't hurt the warmth and friendships.

Hope you guys and gals have a good time. Wish we were there.
Finally had our newest Grand baby yesterday at 12:37pm. He was only 11 days past due.
My daughter is a little beat up but the baby is fine.
Well... shucks.... storm hit us at 4 this morning so I've been wide awake ever since. Got all my work done. Guess I'd rather be riding then sitting here watching the grass dry out so.... See you guys later today. Packing now.

Aw, GREAT, and CONGRATS.....:wtg:

Friday morning in Maggie Valley -- pleasantly, comfortable temperature this morning. It looks like it rained during the night, but no rain right now :pepper:.

It was wonderful to watch all the trikes rolling into town through the day yesterday! There are still a few coming today, but I think the majority have arrived. I've heard of some inconvenient mechanical issues along the way, but no more serious news than that. In addition to the Four Seasons Inn and the next-door Ramada, trikers are settling in around town in campgrounds and a few additional motels. The manager of the Ramada Inn generously put up a tent and chairs in the parking lot for our group's use through the weekend, and a bunch of us gathered there last evening to visit and get better acquainted.

This morning at 9:00 a.m. the organized group ride will pull out of the parking for a full day out on one of skuuter's favorite mountain rides, others will be riding the hills on their own or visiting Asheville, Cherokee, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, and some of the activities available in the surrounding area.

In addition, some of our sponsors are going to be availalable on the grounds of the Wheels Through Time Museum and would enjoy having members stop by, see their products and chat. Wing Bling also has some great stuff available for sale there through the weekend.

During the morning Friday and Saturday, the following will be available at the Four Seasons Inn:
 • TT and TOI merchandise (T-shirts, ball caps, patches, decals, flags)
 • TOI membership cards
 • Meal tickets for the saturday cookout picnic
 • Name tags to help us get acquainted

Nana, did Blondie and her group get there? I was supposed to ride up with them but had some medical problems and had to stay home. Tell her to post a message about the trip up, reading that will help me get well. Thanks, have fun and you already know I wish I was there.

Nana Glad to hear you guys are having fun. Mary and i ar in Mount eagle Tenn on our way home from Fla . Sorry we did not make it down this year but it was not in the cards.
We wish everyone a great time and hope all get home ok. Tell JJ to be careful and have fun..

Hey,Buddy! We rode with OleChile & wife Pepper from Dallas to Maggie Valley. Only took 27 hours - almost all of it in heavy rain. Had to pull off many, many times because of bad visibility, tornadoes around Knoxville, pulled into the motel around 2:30AM on Thursday morning, wet as ducks.

Having a wonderful time; sure wish you were here with us! We ate dinner last night at J. Arthur's Steaks & Seafood (my kind of place - I see food; I eat it!) and may just go back tonight to see if there's anything left.

We know you're coming with us next year, and want to see you at the next TOI-TX event - still workin' on it - I'll give you a call after the rally's over and we'll cuss and dis-cuss what to do.

Amazing day today - a few clouds, but the sun's shining bright and I'm listening to Jonathan Creek rushing by down below our balcony with the rocking chairs. Our new friends from Scotland, Jake & Kathryn, just sat outside and had coffee with us. Nicest folks - like all trikers!!

Take care of yourself and feel better really, really soon - we need you healthy for the next trip!!

Hugs to everyone - will chat later!!
