Has anyone ever had a flat tire on one of the voyage kit tires. How does bike respond and what is correct way to remove tire if you can't plug it. Just thinking out loud.

I guess if someone sits on the opposite fender you just take it off. I don;t imagine you would notice anything . There is very little weight on them

Look under the trunk.On the tri-glide there is a crossmenber there you can put a<br />
5"Height 8"wide board between the frame and your 2 ton car jack. i also use a small jackstand to fit under the rear bumper brace, for support. i keep the small board in my trunk, so if i get a flat tire. all i need is a jack & lug wrench. the lugnuts are 3/4".<br />
i hope your trike is simular. i tried to use a 4 wheeler jack under the trike, but the center of gravity is too far back. all i did was jack up the ft. tire. good luck.

I know it is hard for an old man like me to put the wheel back on, nothing to keep the hub from turning. I have a friend who had a flat on her Shadow with a TowPac kit. The rear MC tire went flat and no place to get a replacement, she rode it about 75 miles on the flat to the nearest shop and replaced the tire.Took a while but she got there, on the Interstate too.
