Hey Y'all!
Another new member to this board (aren't we all?), hope we get the word out and make this site a roaring success! Been riding some type of motorcycle since I had a Rupp mini-bike when I was 7, currently ride a 1990 Harley FLHS and a 1995 GL1500 Motor Trike. Best of both worlds, can choose 2 or 3 wheels. Been trikin' since 1993 when my wife got a Trike Shop VW based Runabout. I rode it as much or more than she did, and kept the mileage up on the Harley, too. 4 years ago we got the current trike at the the Davis Rally in Iowa, and have been all over the mid-south with it, pulling our Bunkhouse camper. As you can see by my sig, I am big on motorcyclist rights.

Hello Ozarkryder. Yeah we are all noobs here since the site is only a couple of weeks old, but hey we`ve got a pretty good crowd here now and its starting to be fun. I remember those Rupp mini-bikes. I had a Heath Kit mini-bike that I thought was the coolest thing on two wheels at the time. Thats been about 50 bikes ago.

I'm a new member as of today...Monday Feb 25...I have a question to ask..I ride 97 wing-trike and thinking about putting a Aqua shield on....any pro's or con's ???

Hey Red Baron-Welcome to the forum! AquaShields pro or cons: You don't specify what trike kit you have on your 'Wing, so aside from costing around $1200, some of the running board kits are built to step on, some are not supported for nore than the weight of your legs. Might or might not be a con if you can't step on them when mounting up. My feeling is that it would be nice to be able to stand on them. On the pro side, I would think they reduce the blast of air and/or water coming up from the road, keep road debris down,
give you more options on foot placement - a good thing on long trips- and they look good!

I think they look good, but am not sure how they would be in the summer. Would they hold the heat up around ur legs and knees??? Will it effect U during the summer heat wise?? I have a CSC kit and don't even know if they make them for it.

I don't think summer would be any more of a problem than it is. The heat from the cylinder heads is bad enough, we have the Baker wind wings to direct cooling air flow, and some of the aquashields I have seen have lower vents.

CSC has a pic of an 1800 with the 'shields on thier opening trike page. They have them for the 1500, too. They call them ground effects,
