What mufflers fit?

He folks,

Forgive the newbie question but I am looking for advice on how to determine which slip-on mufflers fit on the TriGlide and which ones don't.

I have a 2012 on order and will be changing out the exhaust this winter to include the FuelMoto stainless-steel headpipes along with a Screamin Eagle intake and TTS MasterTune controller.

I would like to use the SuperTrapp SE-series slip-ons but I have no idea if they'll fit or not.

Thanks for any advice / suggestions.

If a slip on muffler will fit a 2 wheel touring bike it will fit the Triglide. The only issue you could run into is in mufflers larger than 4" in diameter.

Msocko is correct. I took my Vance and Hines 4" mufflers off my Ultra and put them on my Triglide. Work great.

I am having my '12 TriGlide wrenched on right now. I ordered the Kuryakyn Perfect Storm, and just had the dealer tech give me a tour under my trike. Seems the trike needs an adapter to get the head pipes to link to the Crusher mufflers. For the UG Ultra, it's a straight link. The trike needs a an adapter to get under the frame. They had one overnighted to ensure I can pick it up this weekend.

Is this adapter something peculiar to the mufflers your running or something that all late-model tri-glides require in order to use after-market mufflers? <br />

Now you got me concerned. I'm hoping that by replacing the OEM head pipes with the FuelMoto pipes, that my aftermarket mufflers will mate right up without the need for anything else.<br />

Can anyone confirm that?

If I remember correctly when I ordered my FuelMoto headpipes they included
the extenstion that you need for the T.G.
When you order your headpipe talk to Jamie @ fuelMoto he will set you up.
you should have no problems at all installing your exhaust.
Mine went on with no problems at all, I've had V&H mufflers and Jackpot competition
mufflers on my TG, no problems with either muffler fitting.

</div>I'm running the Fulemoto Jackpot head pipe, you'll be fine. The Kuryakyn Perfect Storm is a set of true dual head pipes, mufflers, air cleaner and TTS tuners. The adapters where needed because the head pipes in that kit are for a 2 wheel touring bike, the trike requires some extra length and a couple bends. Here is a picture of the FM Jackpot I installed on my 2010 Triglide, you'll notice the clamp for the adapter which is included with the Jackpot.<br />

The tech at the dealer showed me my new head pipes/mufflers from Kuryakyn. Guess what? They're sourced from Vance &amp; Hines. <br />

I got to hear the set-up on a Street Glide. When you dig into the throttle, those babies really growl. I'll have to break in my wife gently....

Vance and Hines makes a pair of mufflers designed especially for H-D Tri-Glides. They are called Deluxe Slip On's. They are brand new this year. Once I find that big 'ol bag of money laying on the side of the road, that's the one I'm going to go with! There's a video on You Tube about them and they sound like they have a very mellow rumble to them. V&H advertises that while going down the road they provide a " deep rich stereo friendly sound".
