Now, c'mon, Patches - are you trying to get by without any 'backtalk' from anybody? LOL! (Actually, don't let John find out about this if you locate one . . . he might change ours!!)
Okay, all you teckies out there! Does anyone make a helmet headset without the mike attached or a mike that disconnects? I've never seen one, and just wondering......
Thanks for the help.

J & M does modular head sets. You can leave the mic off and it will work GREAT.. Here's their link...

I'm like an old race horse..... I can still run the race -- Just ache more at the finish line and need more rest between outings.
I hardly ever use the cb. Would like to not have the mike on my helmet.....

Does anybody have a cb module they want to part with?
Can't you take the whole thing off the helmet? Or does the helmet come with it installed?
Buy another helmet? Not trying to be smart, just don't quite understand.

The system is installed into the helmet...The mic can be unplugged
