I just went to three wheels (lehman kit) and was wondering how you guy's secured your helmets. Both trunks are full of stuff, so they are out of the picture.
Just asking the pro's for advice.
Thanks in advance

I am looking at the same issue. Online I found a stud type holder, but not sure if it will accomplish what I want. Just purchased my Lehman conversion last week.

This works for me, I have Ergo II Switchblade Highway Pegs on my 05 GL1800. I bought some locking helmet holders from wing stuff and bolted them on the arm of the highway pegs, so when you stop you can hang the helmet over the foot peg, hook the metal loops on the strap in the lock, pull the key and you are good to go. Hope this helps. Jay A.
ISO grips with helmet locks. Problem solved
unless we are someplace really strange, we just substitute the side viewmirrors for our heads -- they fit nice and snug. Haven't lost one yet -- maybe just lucky.
Remember a thread on a Harly forum about security and one guy said he just leaves an empty holster on the bike!!
When traveling they come inside the hotel room.

Rickt: You obviously haven't tried that in sunny Los Angeles. I used to do that for years with Arai, Shoei & Nolan helmets. The Nolan was slated to go & it went. They left Wifey's HJC & took my beat up Nolan.. My kindda dumb thief. Only hassle was getting home without a helmet. 2 cop stops, but both by moto-police who accepted my word. Love my new Shark Evoline!!
Generally lock our lids in the top box.
The rest of the junk goes in the trunk.
You dont stop riding because you're getting old. You get old cause you stopped riding
KewlMetal Kewlock (TM) - $43.95
Another posibility....
This is the helmet locks I was referring to. Works good. I have installed several of these for folks.
I just carry a small cable and padlock.

Usually I just hang the helmet over the mirror. If I am some place where security is a concern, I just pull out my cable, loop it through the grab bar, run the cable through the sleeve of my jacket and then either lock it to the helmet D ring, or run the cable through the D ring and padlock it back at the grab bars.

I don't remember where I obtained my cable, but I have made a couple of them from materials found at Home Depot or Lowes.
Just put mine over my gps. Never had any problems in all the years we've been doing this either.
For both the Shadow Trike and Goldwing Trike I got, from J&P Cycles, a couple of studs that replace the pivot screws on the brake/clutch. Cost $9.95. Then bought the accompanying locks for another $5.95.
Note: Catalog description for the studs says "Sold in Pairs" but is shipped on a card with only one. Had to go back and advise them what the catalog said. Got another 3 days later. Locks come 2 per card.
Accessories Helmet Holders
I have the ISO bar END LOCKS ON MY Hannagen trike and I like them

Thanks guys. Looks like the Kewl locks for me.
why not empty the top box and put them in there ? how much stuff do you need to take with you ?
get yourself a 3 foot peice of 1/4 inch cable with eyes on both ends and a good paddlock. you can set the helmets on the seat, run the cable throught the rings on the helmets and through the hand holds on the passenger seat and lock the ends together with the paddlock.
