What is a good tire to put on the front of my bike if I trike it?
I am thinking of putting the Dunlop Elite 3 on it but wonder if there is a better tire to look at.

I presume you've read this thread? A popular choice. Some find it gets noisy as it ages, and prefer the similar Bridgestone BT-45. The Elite 3 may be as good, but I haven't seen much about it.

MPA mounted in reverse will last a lot longer IMO RIDE SAFE
I just purchase a Michellon Pilot Active Rear Tire mounted in reverse on the front of my trike. Handles well. Better than the stock tire. Not noisy. Most of all rides smoother.
What Lucky and Skibridg said....I have had two MPA rear tires on my GL1800 - I got 60k on the first tire and am working on the second tire.
