Not to mention..... you can't get as close to the gas pumps with three wheels!!! OUCH!
A word of caution to the newbies , And us old folks that have put them up for a while . It is very easy to forget you are on a trike especially on the straight roads. Be careful if you go back to your 2 wheel habit of being left of your lane as you were taught on a 2 wheeler , this will put your left wheel over , or on the yellow line. I still get turtle slaps for that behavior

Thanks John for looking out for us trike newbies.
I rode by myself today and a gas truck driver pulled up and stopped when I was at a stop sign admiring the trike. LOL!!! I was dressed like a snow bunny. It was cold but I was toasty with my snow suit and heated grips. Having lots of fun..
Also watch out when squeezing through some spaces.
You tend to forget how wide you are, that's my point. Oh the admiring glances , you get a lot of that especially if your women folk...
They sure are fun to do brodies on ice and snow. Don't have to worry about falling over and can just enjoy the ride.
...couple more suggestions. Most trikes will need to run around 24 lbs of air pressure in the rear tires and max posted air pressure in the front tire. Also drive in the center of the lane with your front wheel on the oil line, otherwise you may experience a right or left pull depending on the side of the lane you're running on.
A lady who just bought a GL-1800 trike from us brought it in to have running boards added and grazed a pole out front ruining her paint job, so yes remember you have "hips" on your bike now!

Stupid Question.................What are turtle slaps????
SCHDTRIKE
"You only live life once, but if you live it right once is enough."
Usually they bang with there hands. ( to get your attention ) If they bang helmets together it is a turtle kiss, and usually because you stopped too fast or co pilot just nodded off.
I guess I am not having too much of a problem with the width. I drive a dually truck so I know the fenders are there. It has transfered to the Trike.
