Just wanted to drop by and say hi to everyone riding 3....For the most part I'm not a trike rider. I actually just finished building a trike for my Father.

My Father is 76 and unfortunately suffers from Arthritis. This was giving him issues when it came to hold his MC up if he needed to put his feet down quickly....But he did go down a couple times (fortunately he had just stopped).

He figured he would just give up riding which left me feeling like someone had just plunged a dagger into my heart. That's when I got to work and found a kit that we believed would meet our needs.

He was not to fond of the 'training wheels' style kits, so I found a kit from Cass County Choppers which for the price and what it gave seemed to fit his needs.

He has a Suzuki C50 cruiser, but didn't ride it too much cause it was a bit too big for him riding on 2. One of the reasons I used this bike was because I very familar with the Suzuki cruisers. I'm the technical moderator for Intruder Alert, so I've had a lot of experience with these bikes. I also already had the FI controller replace with a Bully controller and was using a K&N filter on it.

Well with it now converted to a trike it fits him perfectly.
He is absolutely in love with it, but we did have a little wobble issue and from what I read is not totally uncommon with trikes and sidecars.

This lead me to the purchase of a Lehman Tramp steering stabilizer which has pretty much resolved that issue. So now that everything is pretty much together we've been riding it and both are in love with it.

Anyway I look forward to reading more about trikes and tips on riding them so that I can pass this info on to my Father. Here is what the trike looks like together (minus the fenders right now...although he's thinking mudflaps now )
