We are in a severe drought here in central Texas, so rain is an uncommon happening. My new to me 08 GW trike is going to be delivered Tuesday and I am so excited I can barely sit still. Guess what the weather forecast is for Tuesday! That's right - an 80% chance of rain!@@@@@@@

I never ride in the rain, if I can help it. Road grime from rain is a pain to clean. Enjoy the new ride!

Considering the long drought you folks have been suffering I'd ride just to make sure it rains!! We planned a 5 day trip down the Blueridge this Spring and had to call it off. Rained every day, all day. Go ahead and ride, the farmers will thank you!!

Gerald, IF it rains (it seems to miss Killeen every time), I'm going to do a trikers' happy dance in the middle of the driveway!!

Trikers don't melt - I've ridden in rain, hail, snow and ice. ScalpHunter and I are still trikin' . . . you'll be fine - it's still warm enough to only need rain gear - won't get cold in CenTex until (at this rate) - NEVER.
