Hi to everyone,
We live in Florida, so there are several trike dealers in the state. The Trike Shop in fact is in Daytona. You deal with one of the owners, and the trike is built on site by factory employees. You can't beat that if you like the Roadsmith. Trike Traders is in Kissimee and they are dealers for both CSC and Hannigan.
Has anyone ever dealt with Trike Traders or The Trike Shop. I've looked at numerous posts, and can't find too much info on Hannigan so I'm looking for Hannigan riders for help.
I know you have to ride to decide, but any info and help would be appreciated.
We just bought an 2009 GL1800 in the Pearl Yellow, and intented to have it triked at Kissimee Trike traders. We may still use them. We are torn between the CSC, the Hannigan, and the one some says is the best - the Roadsmith. Trike Traders will let you ride around their little parking lot, but that's about it. We rode the CSC a little, and it had a few rattles, and was a bit hard on the only bump we could go over, but the kit seems very good. We are riding the Hannigan next week, but have not talked to anyone that owns a Hannigan. When you intend to spend $35,000 you want a nice good feeling about the company you intend to give your money. That's why I am inquiring about Trike Traders in Kissimee.
From my research it appears the Roadsmith is top of the line, but info is hard to come by. We think CSC is the best looking trike of all, but we have heard their fiberglass is thinner, and the body is not mounted as well as other trikes. Hannigan is a true independent suspension, but the differential is not in the middle. This makes one axle longer than the other which to me could make one side ride different than the other.
Information is everything. We are total newbies looking for the knowledge of seasoned trikers to possibly avoid a costly mistake.
Thanks,
Gary
