Hi all! Just a note to introduce myself. I'm a new trike rider, well almost. I'm buying a 2012 Harley Tri Glide Ultra this week. Selling my 95 Harley Electra Glide Police bike that I got when my husband (NorthGeorgiaHawg) passed down to me when he bought his new CVO Screamin Eagle Street Glide in August. Prior to that I had 2 Yamaha Stars (a 650 & 1100). I've been getting tired of wrestling that big thing around tight corners and scared to death of gravel! I met a gal on a ride this past Sunday with a new Tri Glide and she said she had felt the same way I did and almost gave up riding until she got the Trike. She said THAT changed everything and now she's lovin the road again. Have a couple of dealers we're talking to and hope to get something pretty quick. Can't wait!

I would love to hear from any of you about trikes and what you like best about them!

Welcome and good luck with the buy. After hundreds of thousands of miles I switched last year to a '10 Tri-Glide and love it. Didn't want to get a lighter bike due to high mileage riding. This seemed like a good option. Lot's of fun. Give yourself at least 500 miles to get used to it.

The thing I like best about trikes is that YOU will be ON one soon, and off we'll go!

What a GREAT bunch of people they are there at Killer... Highly recommended!

Poor NGB won't actually have it here to play with 'til late Friday though. I was going to have them deliver it today, but all it's rainy and nasty here... so I'm having them give "Beyonce" the whole MEGA-BLING treatment at the Killer Creek Styling Salon.

Thanks all! I'm soooo excited to get my trike! It is supposed to be nice on Friday (highs in the mid 50's) so I will be able to go pick it up and drive home. It is going to be awesome! My hubby is the BEST!
