Cold weather gear

Morning,
I enjoy riding as much as I can and have been riding to work the last few days with temp's in the upper 20's - low 30's. I have stayed warm with a set of bicycling bibs and an extra coat under my jeans and leather coat so far but am wondering about the ways others stay warm and what products you may use.
I have thought about getting the Gator Skins, www.Gator-Skins.com, to wear but before I buy would like others advice on what works for you.

I do the layered approach. jeans and now insulated chaps. shirt, sweatshirt, thin ski jacket and leather jacket. Snowmobiling gloves with "rifle mitten covers" from army surplus, if needed. when I get the single digit temps, I have full mittens. and for really cold, very long rides. I would throw my rain gear on to block the wind.
One of these years I will probably break down and switch to electric. But not yet.

Gerbing heated jacket liner and union ridge outer heated pants,plus heat gloves.
For face and head Ari flip shield helmet and snow mask.
Feet,I have a pair of red wing insulated boots,feet and toes stay pleanty warm.
Have rode down as for as 18 degrees,stayed pleanty warm.

Full leathers, Heated long sleeve vest, heated grips, waterproof lined boot and large leg wings. Zero deg Celsius and yes I also have snow tires. Canada eh!

Absolute Best Thing I have is an Olympia Motosports 1pc Phoenix Suit....it's good for 100 degrees with it's vent system, and I've ridden in 8 degrees with everything sealed up, has removable armor...windproof/waterproof also.....

I got a Harley heated jacket. LOVE IT. think I'm going for heated grips next. Had them on the buell, loved them too.

I have one motorcycle radiator at the front of my VW trike subaru engine. A second added shortly should heat the air before it hits us.

That is not likely an option for some. sounds like the heated gear is the way to go.

It's interesting reading about riding in below freezing point temps while here in OZ most of the east coast is having heat waves of 35 to 45 deg. C

I'm planning on a set of heated grips for winter this year. Best thing I found was silk undergloves and balaclaver so far. Wool under leather is the old reliable. I have even been known to put a flat newspaper inside the front of a jacket and trousers. Works really well.

I fitted a car size fan to the front of the radiator on the Kwaka 6 to help cool it in summer heat. It pushes air at a furious rate into the radiator and over the exhaust and engine. Does a great job of summer cooling and I expect it to help keep my boots a bit warmer in winter.
