Champion Differential

Does anyone have any idea of what brand and model of rear axels and rear differential that champion uses on there Harley Independent conversion kit. Need help!

Seems that Champion uses a diff of their own design, not like the car diff on our solid axle GL1800 Champion. There are some good downloads on the Champion website, installation instructions, maintenance guides and such.

Check out the link for your conversion, there are drawings of the rear end assembly and the differential itself. they are pdf files you will have to download and open.

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to be able to buy or repair the rear end without going to Champion and paying there price if i could buy elsewhere.

I beleive that is a Suzuki rear end in the solid axle Champion trike. Not positive , but that is what the shop who is redoing mine for me this week said.

For the Belt driven Trikes it's their own design.

Have you ever had any problems with yours? The old steel ( bull Horns ) rear ends were just OK the new Aluminum rears are FANTASTIC with no issues what so ever in the 4 years they have been out.

What we are looking for is a breakdown of said axle assembly.Bearings,gears,or any gaskets involved.Install instructions do not go into details.

I tried calling Bob at Champion but i believe there on serious lock down in Cali
