Another one of my winter projects was to swap out the exhaust and I got that done over the holidays.

I went with the fuelmoto headpipe, a very popular upgrade to our bikes. So I won't go into the details on that.

However, I went with some mufflers from Vance & Hines referred to as their Classic Slash-Cut Slip-Ons. They are pretty much a standard 4-inch muffler with a fiberglass-wrapped baffle. The chromed billet end caps really add to the overall look. I believe they are designed for pre-09 bikes (those without catalytic converters) but they bolt right up to the newer bikes as well. I think the look very nice tucked under the trike body.

Although Vance & Hines describes these mufflers as being aggressive-sounding, I don't think they are that loud. Instead, they have a very throaty, deep rumble to them.
