Has anybody had their TriGlided dynoed. Have Fatshots, stage one aircleaner, and Power Commander V. Would it help on performance? Changed to the 30 tooth gear and speedo is off a little. Rod69 TOI #900

my opinion from the seat of the pants performance of my '09 t/g doing a dyno would not be worth the cost. and stock performance sucks. now that i have a S&S 510 gear cam
installed(this eliminates the cam shoes) too. performance is great. but i don't have the $$ for a dyno tune, and would spent that dollars for other upgrades, like the Performance Machine stage 1 brake kit.Which i have and it really helps brakeing. locking up the rear brakes if needed is no problem. just saying. roll on and throttle up.

Would love to have the break kit and the cams, bet it really does help your overal performance and stopping power. Rod69 TOI#900
A dyno tune from a good tuner can make a considerable difference in performance, the tune can make a cooler smoother running engine. When I had my Triglide with the Wood TW555 cams tuned I thought it ran pretty decent to start with. Once the tune was complete I picked up 7 hp and 10ft/lb of torque vs what I had when I first road it in there. I could have picked up more HP and Torque had we fiddled with the timing some and had I choose different mufflers. All in all it runs much smoother and and the fuel mileage is better than before the tune.
A well tuned engine from a competent tuner is much better than taking ones best guess at it. You would be amazed at what your seat of the pants thinks vs the reality of a measuring device such as a dyno and a 4 gas analyzer.

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
Having your trike dynoed, does fine tune it to it's max. Had mine done before I ever picked it up.Had alot of motor work done to mine, that's why it was done. Would also like to get info on the Machine stage 1 kit for the rear brake. Eagle 1, is that a Harley part? I doubt it.
So, where did you find a dyno for a trike in S Bend??
Not aware anyone had one in the area.
The Harley barn in Effingham Il. has one and I've heard that Manns in Edenburg In. also has one. Not sure about Manns.

This dyno was after installing SE-255s, FM x-pipe, SE A/C and 30T sprocket. I might add he was able to break 100 ft.lbs. over a decent chunck of RPM, and I'll also add that it was dynoed with stock mufflers. It was dynoed with TTS Mastertune. I still need to take it to an Indy who will spend some time working the timing, since the SE-255s add some challenges with 91 octane and hot summers. So get it dynoed but ask exactly what they will do BEFORE you pay and wait all day...
Hey Roadrumble, Brendspeed in Syracuse did the Dyno. Hoosier HD took it down & did the dyno. The bike really runs strong. But with all the money I have in the motor,it should. Brendspeed strickly works on Mustangs. They have a vidieo on Utube.
P.S. What do you ride? Maybe we could get together this spring or summer & take a ride. It would be nice to get other trikers in the area to take rides with.
