Has any Canadian taken a trike back to CAnada. If so what conversion and how was it done?

Never done it, but from what I have read on the forum, Canada doesn't make it easy. One person wrote awhile ago that they brought a US bike in and called the trike kit "Parts" for it. As far as a aleady assembled trike, a stock one such as the H-D Tri-Glide seems to be accepted. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable about it than me will chime in soon enough.
One requirement is a parking brake.
it is a little bit of luck if they let you thru with no hassle . but from what i have heard from others that i know is any converted can be a royal pain to get across the border.you might actually have to split it then reassemble and get inspected.those are a couple horror stories i was told . sorry don't want to rain on your parade or anything but expect the worst and anything less will just be cake.

I'll bet the folks at Hannigan can give you a good answer. They are originally from Canada.
