Anyone tried one of these? For some reason I'm thinking it will look good on a trike.

I looked at doing that, but went with kliktronic. I like keeping the hands on the handlebars.

Although I love the looks of it and it definitely would be a fun addition, I was going to say the same thing regarding keeping both hands on the bars. I've also been looking at the Kliktronic but the price and having to fashion my own mounting bracket has kept me from moving forward with that addition.
Cool retro look. It would take some getting used to but looks like a new "old" twist.
I put one on mine ( not this model listed ) started out with the jockey shift and then I made a tank style shifter -- the jockey shift was great but I was always afraid Miss Debbie would hit the shifter by mistake when getting on or off the trike. I've had it on for a little over a year now and love it and one nice thing about it is that no-one will ask you if they can take it for a test ride.
I went with the pingel shifter, I lost the left leg to a Dodge pickup truck. It has failed twice on me. Once leaving me having to tow it home, the other taking a few days off my vacation. Thanks to Smokey Mt. Harley Davidson, and the redneck hillbilly wrench that worked there. I was back on the road with a shifter switch made out of a cruzer-caddy and a cruise control switch. Give that guy a beer, some duct tape and safty wire and he could fix anything. This looks like something I might look more into.
Maybe they call it widow maker for a reason
Love my Kiltronic shifter!
