We have a 06 CSC conversion and is subject to the recall. I believe it depends on the manufacturer of the conversion whether it has been disabled or not.
Go to Honda for the test and possible fix (I'm told that only about 2% have failed the test by my Honda dealer). If your conversion kit did modify the rear MC, I'm sure the Honda service rep will let you know. But, I would definately go to Honda to satisfy the recall it is free. Good Luck..

Your Lehman still has the linked brakes so it needs to have the recall done.
We have an '08 Gold Wing with the Lehman Monarch II kit... YES .... it needed the recall.
The service manager at the first Honda dealer we took it to (closest one) told us it was a Lehman dealer problem - not his. The 2nd one told us "no problem - come on in" and handled it promptly and professionally.
Yep - we'll travel the 20 miles to that dealer and wave as we drive by the 2-mile-distance dealer.
Thanks I will go tomorrow.
I have a '02 GL 1800, I have been getting brake chatter from the front wheel when appling the rear brake pedal at a medium pressure, if I apply harder the chatter goes away. Does anyone know if the chatter is part of the recall?
I don't believe so as the Secondary master cylinder is not releasing all the pressure that is on the rear brakes. Mine had to be replaced when the bike was triked. My rear rotor was turning blue as it was not releasing all the way. You never know until you ask though. Good luck.
Anyone know of a trike friendly dealer near Ocala,FL? Just got my recall and want to have it checked out.
