Some time ago I replaced my front 150-16 tire for a whitewall. You can also get them in all black.
The tire a 600-16 went on a 3 inch Harley rim. Surprisingly the tire, being mounted on such a slim rim, crowned in the centre at an idea amount for fast bends see pic
So consider a 600-16 tire next time you wear out your front tire. It might cost you twice as much but will last you 5-6 times longer. It corners very well.
