Hi, just joined the site. Looks like a lot of valuable info here. I have just purchased a complete home-made VW trike that looks pretty nice, just needs a few odds and ends, but the best thing is it already has a special built title and has been titled in IL already, that is where I am from....Southern Illinois to be exact. I have liked trikes since I road my first VW trike in my teens. I have been planning to build one for years and have been collecting parts to do so.
I have 2 fiberglass bodies, 1 brand new wide body with the travel box, and one cool looking older body that from the back looks like a 60's vette. I have a rear torsion assy, and a long narrow springer also.
I might list these items in the classified section once I figure out how to get some pictures put on the site. or I might keep them for a future project..anyway nice site, and I look forward to reading all the post pertaining to VW trikes......
