What Cajun does not tell you is that he got all his money back, does he. There is 2 sides of the story, but I am sure no one wants to hear my side, easier to listen to the other guy.

Well, I guess the above post answers THAT question...I was curious as to what happened to him. I thought he died.
Maybe we do?...What Cajun does not tell you is that he got all his money back, does he. There is 2 sides of the story, but I am sure no one wants to hear my side, easier to listen to the other guy.

Absolutely we Do!
I just Love a Good well-spun "Story"
Be sure and shed light on ALL the Stories and ALL the sordid Details when you do.
Eventually/Finally getting/giving the Money back does NOT offset or "Wash" the initial Bam-Boozeling and Shenanigans.
A Shyster who may happen to make Restitution is still a Shyster.
Like Ricky Ricardo said......

if i am not mistaken, i thought you could take somebody to small claims court if the money involved was $5000.00 or less. in doing so you would not need a lawyer and could also sue him for court costs which is not very much. you will go if front of a judge , state your case and then you will go in front of a mediator and discuss the issues and see if the both of you could come to terms. if not you will go in front of the judge again and he will settle it right then and there and with what you are saying you should win. good luck.

These con artists, you can take them to small claims, but then, ya still gotta collect. You get the judgement at great cost of inconvenience, if the the sorry lout still doesn't pay, ya get a lien on something he owns, there's another problem if doesn't own anything or sails under the radar in selling an asset.
