I have sold my 2015 H.D. Tri-Glide. I will be back, when Harley makes an independent suspension. Our California roads are just - to torn up. (We have a Can-Am Spyder,) It's indep.suspension, & nice - but not a Harley. Maybe, with the money - a H.D. Lehman or Champion...

Has anyone ever applied heat - to bend a Harley clutch lever - thus bringking the lever angle closer tho the handel bar ? (reduced throw) I know there are products out there, but this processs seems so simple, and I only want a one inch change. You tube demonstrates, Easly bending Aluminum...

Before I part with $900. and get Dk's 14 inch shocks and Custom LIft Kit --- I wounder if there is anyone in Central Calif. that has one installed, and would be willing to take me for a ride ??? (I live in Merced, Ca. but would be willing to travel 50 miles or so, if needed. Thaknks

Had the bike about a year. Last weekend, got stuck on a 16 mile "road" that should not have been labled a "road" The two wheeler's with me were even taxed. Thought my kidneys etc. were done for. "Dont go on those roads", you say. Seems like all of California, is turning into those roads...

I have a car hoist - Rear wheels supported on the two ramps. Question is - How much weight is the front wheel - excreting ? Would Two pieces of 3/4 in ply wood enough placed across the two ramps ?

Has anybody used the (K&N) oil filters, that have a nut on the front ?? Looks like a lot easer to take off, than the original .. ??

After an all day ride, the tips of my fingers are "soiled" (dark) from the clutch & break levers. I am thinking of coating these with a spray of lacquer, or urethane, or such. Suggestions ?

When the Tri-Glide parking brake is applied --- Is it to both? Or just one side ? Is it mechanical ( a seperate shoe brake?) Both or just one ?

I notice, many folks suggest, and are - running 22lbs (or so) of air pressure in the rear wheel - to make it a "better" ride. I'm sue it would soften out the bumps, but what about the tire wear on the rear. I am certain, if the correct pressure is not maintained - cupping, side, or middle...

On average - how long do your shocks stay pressurized ?
