2008 GL 1800

5th gens are voltage sensitive. Start with the easy stuff first. The battery connections need to be clean and tight. If all good there, have the battery professionally tested at a powersports dealer. If your battery is bad, and you buy a new one, assume it to be bad too, until it is tested too. The idea is that the battery has to prove that it is worthy of being put in your Wing.

Gregg,
Is correct above, (Last season) I purchased a new battery, (Bike still didn't start) I had it tested for "goodness" and it failed, dealership, gave me a new battery (Free replacement) and boom, bike started immediately..
Gregg knows he stuff........ Gregg when you speak................. I listen! {Thanks for ALL you do for us on the board}
