Dead Stallion

I just read my Wing World magazine. Someone had a white Stallion overheat on the way home to Michigan in Wabash, IN. They got it to Autozone, but couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, so they got someone with a flatbed trailer to take it and a trailer over 200 miles home. Anybody we know? I sure would like to know what the problem was. Rick

Most magazine's have a lead time of at least a month or more before they publish anything...So that might have been months ago when it happened...??

A few years ago, my wife and I were about 150 miles from home and I noticed it heating up, the fan was not running. Usually if the ac is on, the fan would run constantly, but it didn't this time. I am familiar with the sensor on the coolant line inside the right wheel well. Grounding that wire out did nothing. We could ride 25 or so miles a whack and let it cool off about 20 minutes and go again. So, we did that for 150 miles and arrived home before dark. I contacted Richard and he told me about a relay on a cross member under the seat. I found the relay and it was fried. Replaced with a good relay and no more problems since 2016.
