CORRY,PA,USA
-TLDR-

Greetings All!

I now reside in NorthWest PA, village called Corry. Turning 65 in a few weeks, I am a widower with 3 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I tried to retire a couple of years ago, but my company made it worth my while to at least log in everyday. Hobbies include anything mechanical, electronic, woodworking, carpentry, etc..

I've been on two wheels since I was a young lad, and a street rider for 48 years. I have owned many brands of bikes but been riding Harleys for the last 30 years. My wife and I have been across country coast to coast, border to border, and many trips in between. I haven't done a lot of touring since my wife past 5 years ago, but I would like to get back out there, and travel to visit my kids, who have scattered around the country.

Over the last two years, it's been increasingly painful for me to get on and off my Ultra, and even my WideGlide. Many years of Hip and Knee abuse coming back on me. I feel like I draw an audience at a fue4 stop where people watch the show of my weak azz getting on and off. I haven't dropped the bike yet, but sometimes I put down a leg, and a little uneven ground will light up the knee. I've come to realize that if I want the wind in my face, a trike is in my future. I kind of feel like it's the end for my twisty road carving riding, and I guess that is true to an extent.

After much internal battle of fighting off my denial, I decided to go the trike route. I start cruising some forums, joined Trike Talk. I investigated converting my 2007 Ultra to a trike, but for the cost of a really good conversion, I decide I wanted all the other upgrades that comes with a 2023. So, I took a new Tri-Glide for a test ride last week, and I think I was sold as soon as I easily put a foot on the floorboard and sat in the saddle.

I pick up my new Tri-Glide tomorrow. The color choice would not have been my first choice, but the color line up for 2023 kind of lack luster.

However, it really looks like butterscotch in person.

I excited to say the least. I've been busy ordering some must-haves over the last couple of days.

Already planning a run to Baltimore to visit a couple of kids/grandkids, and stop in the office to say hi, and see if my desk is still there.

Sorry to the for the long wind, and thanks for having me. (Brent)

My other rides in the fleet.
