i have a 2010 Goldwing with a 2010 motor trike adventure kit. not saying i am going to try to fix this problem i am one that just would like to know how it is done. the problem is the back wheels are toeing in to the point that i have worn out a new set of tires in 5200 miles the left tire is as slick as glass from out side to inside and and the left not far behind i will be taking it in on sept.20 to get it fixed like i said not going to fix it myself but would just like to know where Heim joints are and how they are going to do it i have looked the kit over and cannot see or find any Heim joints adjustment????

heim joints have jamb nuts on them then they screw into the ladder bars. your rear is seriously out of whack. i had to do mine and it was 1 inch off from one side to the other and never wore tires off like that.

as far as the adjustment. you measure from the rear footpeg mount to the front of the rear and adjust the front heims to make that measurement straight. after that is done then the heim joint rod that centers the rear side to side should be checked.

then the 2 rods running between the ladder bars need adjusted.

you measure for the rear foot peg to the rear of what

and what is the ladder bar??

can't see the attachment.

i looked up the adventure kit. its not a solid axle. so my mistake. but looking at the way the kit is built i cannot see how anything could be that far out of whack to wear tires off like your describing.

How many miles do you have on this Trike.

You say you have 5200 on this set of tires.

when i got the just a little over a ago it 41k and now has 52+k not sure new the tires were when i got it in july 21 but in Nov. of 21 i had to new tires on and didn't know if was going to fine any on a Sat. we were in Cookeville Tn. on a group ride. So from Nov.21 to Aug. 22 and 2500 miles the tire were toast. Still haven't figured out they are going to get her back in line. but AJ trikes said they could get it done so in Sept 20 we will find out.
