rewaco RF1 owners

Hello rider 1100! Welcome to TrikeTalk. We are happy to have another Aussie and another rewaco owner here.
There are not very many rewacos in the US as yet, but we have a couple of Canadians , and at least one in Europe in addition to the Australian riders. We hope to see more them soon.... beautiful trikes, for sure! Hopefully the news that there will soon be dealers for them in the US is true.

Hey Trikers,

The RF1 is a very sweet machine! It has a Ford 1.6 liter fuel injected engine, 115 hp and it easily goes 115 mph which is not too shaby on three wheels :D. This trike is built for comfort, it has independent wheel suspension, integrated brake system, and a 42 degree rake which is as close to a power steering as you will ever get on a trike! I'm not kidding, 150 miles on a Rewaco RF1 seem like a spin around the block! It also has an 8 gal gas tank and it is rated at 35 mpg

The RF1 will be in the US soon, the company is currently dealing with EPA issues, and as soon as the tests are completed, the trike will be allowed to be retailed in the US. There are a lot of dealers interested to retail the RF1 across the US so when the EPA testing is complete, you should see Rewaco dealers popping up in many states.

that looks like a very well thought out design. makes me re-think my opinions on the rear enging style in general.

ol'newby

handles better on the road compared to a motorcycle-trike due to the lower seating and the wider rear wheels, also the engine is placed in front of the rear axle so the weight is better placed.

great to see I am not alone here in Australia.
The guy ripping off the REWACO design and name in Cairns builds them locally.
Genuine Rewaco's rebadged as Touroz are available from touroztrikes.com.au in queesland but the business is only new. My delivery has taken 6 months already from order date but it is worth the wait.

rider1100, I sure did enjoy my one (hope it isn't the last!!!) ride as a passenger on a Rewaco up in BC, Canada earlier this year. What a great machine!!!

The only problem was, Rewaco hasn't yet seen fit to make one with controls I could reach!!!!
I'm sure the issue is not that God saw fit to make me so short....... LOL! :p

Six Months? And I thought the 5-7 Week estimate for the Delivery of my Roadstar Motor Trike was excessive! There isn't enough Schtch to keep me calm for six months

;-)

The vertically challenged do find it hard to ride trikes ( an bikes for that matter) have you looked at getting all hand controls fitted. That would alleviate the need for foot pedals.
When there is a will there is always a way.

Those trikes are equiped with foot pedals so you can drive it without a motorcycle license. A car license will do to ride those vehicles.

On the RF1 and some other rewaco's there are 3 holes to alter the pedal positions. If that's not enough you simply could make a piece of metal with two holes in it to extend the position of the pedals.
