Going in for a "Clean out" and a look see for a possible replacement down the road. All of the sports over the years, and up and down ladders and 15-25000 steps at my Home Depot have taken their toll. Please say a prayer that Carolyn won't kill me because I am bugging the crap out of her for stuff!

Scott, prayers up for your surgery and for extra patience from that sweet wife of yours, though I think that is a given! When are you getting it done?

Tomorrow, July 23 at 1:00pm. It will be done at Kansas City Orthopedic Institute.

Just got online Scott, you are most likely in recovery. I hope all went well, said a prayer, hope it worked I,ve been using alot of them this week. But I do know that Carollyn will be the bestest nurse ever to get up and going again ThumbUp I do hope you will be able to make Maggie Valley even in the dreaded car, but we all understand, if that aging body, like mine, can't heal in time. Love you buddy, only good thoughts and prayers coming your way!!

Will you have to stay off your feet for a while? Cleaning out my hip required me to stay off my feet for four weeks, which did nothing for my physical stamina. Probably should have had the joint replaced, but I've heard both good and bad about that and, so far, have been unwilling to commit to that. Good luck with the surgery and get back to riding ASAP.

I am home now and really appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers! I had a shredded medial meniscus and it was causing all the issues. We will be at Maggie Valley...God willing!!

Just saw this...I don't know you, but I wish you well. Glad to hear that you are doing well. Knee surgeries can be especially hard on someone. From everyone I've heard from knee replacements are the most painful thing that they have ever went through. That even comes from women that have been through childbirth. :AGGHH: Hope you don't have to go through that.

Knee surgery is pleasant compared to rotator cuff ... but I digress ... glad to hear you did well ... with all surgery, physical therapy is the key, the better you do that ... the better you'll recover.

Once looked up physical therapist in the dictionary ... said see sadomasochist ... :AGGHH:
